The LifeVac Travel Kit is a preferable option for travel use. It is easily stored and carried due to it’s zip hand with handle, ideal for cars and handbags. Each mask comes with a coloured identifier to easily identify which mask suits the casualty. Unfortunately, one size mask will not fit everyone.

How to use the device:

LifeVac® is designed for use after basic choking first aid (like back blows and abdominal thrusts) has failed:

• Attach to Device: Firmly push and twist the correct sized mask onto the LifeVac® base.
• Position the Mask: Place the top of the mask over the bridge of the nose and the bottom of the mask between bottom lip and chin for a secure seal.
• Hold Securely: With your non dominant hand, firmly hold the mask in place, ensuring the mouth is open.
Create Suction: Using the handle, depress the bellows with your dominant hand and then pull the handle back swiftly and firmly to generate suction to remove the obstruction. Hold the mask firmly in place throughout the entire process.
• Repeat if Needed: Continue until the airway is clear or help arrives.

This method works if the casualty is standing, sitting, or lying down.
